We are pleased to announce that the JDM Technology Group is growing again through the acquisition of 3D Building Information Modeling (BIM) collaboration platform provider Rendra AS in Lysaker, Norway.
Rendra AS offers a platform named StreamBIM for 3D BIM collaboration throughout all stages of the construction project, from design, through construction, to as-built handover, and facilities maintenance. Users can always access the latest 3D BIM model and drawings from the field, as well as document issues, and the as-built work completed. Through StreamBIM, real-time interaction with everyone on the project reduces time sensitive delays between all parties. Rendra will continue to operate as a separate company with its existing staff out of its Lysaker, Norway headquarters. Current CEO Kristin Omholt-Jensen will continue to lead Rendra and oversee day-to-day operations as Managing Director.
As the adoption of BIM technology increases worldwide through government regulation and various initiatives, the acquisition of Rendra gives us a strong position in the market, and a good technology base in the industry with potential applications in other geographies where we are active. This acquisition continues to solidify our commitment to growth and stability for many years to come.
